Detox begin!

Hi guys,
Happy new year!
Right, it's detox time, but that doesn't mean eating hamster food four times a day! I made a lovely lunch today it was a cold beef salad with silverskin onions and horseradish vinaigrette. Simply take some cold cooked beef (I had some good topside left over) then cut it into this strips or chunks, it's up to you . Then fill a big bowl with your favourite leaf, for me that's peppery rocket, now mix 2 tsp of horseradish with 1 tsp of white wine vinegar, salt and enough olive oil to make a pourable vinaigrette. Lay the beef on the leaves and dot on some lovely tangy silverskin pickled onions (these are a homage to my grandparents as they almost lived on them!) now drizzle over the horseradish vinaigrette and a twist of black pepper for good measure. Now, I had this with a glass of water (boring I know) but if you would like something to complement the dish I recommend a glass of Rioja, its deep spicy tones complement the pepper and horseradish beautifully.
